This is what I wore on the first day of our Date in Daet 2014. Have you seen my post about that already? You better do if you want to know more about this beautiful place that I’m in!
It’s kind of weird to join a tour inside your own hometown, they say. But for me, I’ve always wanted to experience to be a tourist in my own hometown. I’ve always been proud to be a Daeteño. I’ve always been into inviting every close friend to come and visit Daet because I know Daet has a unique beauty of its own. But as a home buddy that I am, I’ve never really explored Daet that much. To share is to know right? That’s why this Date in Daet 2014 has been one of the highlights of my summer! Well, continue reading this blog post and you’ll know why!
Our first stop was at the Kapitolyo ng Camarines Norte. It has been said that this very Capitol is one of the most beautiful capitols in the Philippines!
We also went to the Museo Bulawan just beside the Kapitolyo.
An awesome summer news just got in! I’m going to be a part of the DATE IN DAET 2014 this coming May 3-4! *woot!* Summer getaway with a bunch of co-bloggers, doesn’t that sound amazing? And I’ll get a chance to be a tourist in my hometown too. Another checkbox is going to be checked on my bucket list soon!

“That time of day when the sun hasn’t come up yet, but you can already feel it coming. It’s an elusive warmth, like a subtle promise whispered in your ear and you can go on with your day knowing you’ve been given another chance to get it right.” ― Cassia Leo, Relentless
Bagasbas Beach, Daet, Camarines Norte
This beach is a big part of my childhood. And I know, a lot of people who grew up in Cam Norte too have a lot of memories here. I’ve always loved coming here just to make muni-muni, watch people walk and surf, and wait for the sun to set. I feel so lucky to have a beach like this just a few kilometers from our home.
The Road Less Traveled
These photos were taken when I was on my way home last Saturday (from Naga to Daet). The first photo was taken at the Bitukang Manok (Camarines Norte). It’s called that way because its curves seem like to be an intestine. Tortuous. At sobrang nakakahilo dito sa part na ‘to, swear. It’s like a mini Emi, if you know what Emi is. The second photo was taken in a highway in Daet. I was inside the van when I took these. :)
At last! I’m back in the business! lol. Heeee.. *u*
This is the first batch of cutiepatootie rings that I will be selling. :3
And of course! I would like to congratulate, too, our this year’s Ms. Daet! Ate Renei Almoneda! She’s the one who turned over me the sash of Quality and Beauty in our JS Prom last 2009. Kaya tawagan namin, Q and B. Siya si Q, ako si B. :)
I’m just so proud of her. A true quality and beauty it is! :>
