Every semester, Ateneo de Naga University conducts an Alternative Class Program for Ateneans. It’s my most awaited day in a semester because we got to attend awesome talks that interest us. Plus! We got to meet awesome speakers, and some of them are even known personalities! Last year, I attended the talk about blogging with speaker David Guison! (See my blog about that here). It was real awesome because it’s my first time to meet a famous blogger. I feel so lucky about our ACPs, because this sem, the speaker for the topic blogging is Ms. Vern Enciso!

I did puslit lang sa talk niya, actually, in the morning because I was not able to online register! Lame online registration! Good thing the topic head of that is my colleague! ;)

It’s so funny that every sem, I get to gain a friend because of ‘stalking’ a blogger. LOL :)) Last year was Nadine and Carol for stalking David. And now, I’ve got to get close with a fellow lookbooker, Danica! Thank you so much sis for helping me to meet Vern! ;)

So I came in very late that it’s almost the end of her talk na! Magpapicture lang naman talaga main goal ko don! lol :))

I get really kilig when it’s my turn na to take a picture with her. She complimented my outfit!! I can clearly remember what she said when I approached her..

Me: Hi Ms. Vern! :>

Vern: I love your outfit!! Blogger ka?

Me: Um, yes! :D

Vern: You look like a blogger!

And all that I’ve ever said after that was.. OMG!! Hahaha. And all the other girls there laughed. Haha! Can’t explain my feelings after that! I just got complimented by a famous fashion blogger.. What?! *u*

Then after the talk, I waited outside the venue for her. Wala lang, I just want to see her again. Haha. Surprisingly! Vern approached me and asked me if she can take a picture of my outfit!! OMG! She even knelt down just to take a picture of me? Gosh.. I feel so kilig! And she said she’ll post it in her blog too! Can you believe that?! That day was just so effin’ cool! \m/

But I regret not coming early for her talk, so I decided to attend again in her afternoon session even though I’m not registered! Hihi. But this time with James! ;)

It was so funny because Vern said James looks like the guy from Hale (Champ). So now, she’s calling him ‘The Hale Dude’! Haha! :))

I really enjoyed her talk! I still learned a lot even though I’ve already attended a talk about blogging before. Her talk was a really brand new experience for me. Thank you so much Ms. Vern for your awesome talk! And thank you  so much for making me really happy that day! Hope you’d get back to Bicol soon! ;)
